Rev. Craig Alexander

Rev. Craig Alexander (Lead Pastor)

Throughout all of my life I have sensed the power of God and the realness of His relationship with me.  Throughout my early years, I enjoyed music and singing all the time.  I can remember my Grandmother having me sing while she videotaped the whole episode.  This love for music has led me naturally to leading worship at Lawrence Christian Center.  Christ has done so much for me, and I love to sing His praise.

The desire that God has placed in my heart is not only for lost ones to find Christ as their Savior.  I feel God wants His church re-awakened from their luke-warm nap.  I want to see new believers, but my real desire is to see all believers, new and old alike, come to a fired up relationship with Jesus Christ.  An intense personal relationship with Christ is the only way to live a victorious Christian existence.  And this type of relationship is for believers of all ages.  We are all to share the gospel with others.

I have lived in Lawrence or Baldwin City for most of my life.  After graduating from Baldwin High School I went to Baker University.  There I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting in December of 2003 and met my beautiful wife, Kristi.  She and I have one of God’s most precious gifts, a son Caleb, whom we truly adore Kara who truly is a special little girl.  Currently I am an accountant at Sprint Nextel Corporation.

In 2005, while being mentored by Pastor Dan, we decided that it was time for me to take the next step in ministry and I was licensed with FCF.  After a full year of being licensed with FCF, I became an ordained minister in April 2006.  I am here to serve Christ in whatever manner He decides is appropriate.

Come and join us for worship sometime.
